The Weinstein Co, who were originally picking up projects left and right, have slowed up a bit and, amongst their recent selections, have decided to adapt Four Knights.
Paul McGuigan to Direct Four Knights
According to Variety, based on Paul Webb's play Four Knights in Knaresboro, The Weinstein Co has picked up director Paul McGuigan to direct the adaptation.
Webb will adapt his play into a script with shooting set to begin this fall in the U.K.
Laurence Bowen of U.K.-based production shingle Feelgood Fiction is producing. U.K.-based Colin Vaines, exec vice president of European production and development, and Rhodri Thomas, director of development and production, are overseeing for the Weinstein Co.
Paul McGuigan has directed films such as Wicker Park and, more recently, Lucky Number Slevin.
