The Fantastic
The good people over at Game Informer
magazine were able to get Tim Story to discuss Fantastic
Four and the complications of having to adapt a comic
such as Four to the big screen.
Complications with Fantastic Four
While Story sits down with Game Informer, he mentions that the biggest challenge
to adapting Fantastic Four was "figuring out how to make the
use of their powers within the story organic."
Story goes on to say some of the following:
In the comic book, Johnny is always on fire, but nothing catches on fire around him. We had to make it so he could actually be in a room with people, flame on, and make sense." says Story. The biggest challenge has been taking the comic book and making the powers seem natural for the characters and what they are going through.
There aren't a whole lot of villains out there who intentions are extremely pure." says Storm. Dr. Doom just wants to get rid of Reed Richards. It's plain simple. He just hates Reed, and at the end of the day, it's not much bigger than that.
