We have just been sent over what looks to be the first plot synopsis for the sequel to Fantastic Four and it also comes packaged with the official title.
Fantastic Four Sequel Shifts Dates
Here is the supposed FF 2 plot sent over by 'Sarah'.
Marvel’s first family of superheroes, The Fantastic Four, meets their greatest challenge yet in Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer as the enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction. As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer and confront the surprising return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom, before all hope is lost.
Julian McMahon recently mentioned that this sequel will be his last as Dr. Doom. So I guess we should assume Dr. Doom finally gets what's coming this time around.
I have looked through the news and press releases to see if I can get any confirmation on this plot and wound up finding the same thing over at Joblo. Mike Sampson seems to have his own feelings on Fox's move to add Silver Surfer to the Fantastic Four franchise rather than giving the character his own film; so be sure to check them out.
As far as we can tell, the sequel to Fantastic Four will be titled Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer.
