Since over the years both Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman have become the, well, wisest of the Hollywood stars I guess it was only a matter of time before the two would play roles that have them on their last leg.

According to Variety, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson will co-star in The Bucket List.
Directed by Rob Reiner, the film should have a studio by next week.
Scripted by Justin Zackham, The Bucket List refers to a wish list that two terminally ill men try to fulfill before each kicks the bucket. After they break out of a cancer ward, they head off on a road trip with an itinerary that includes racing cars, eating giant plates of caviar and slinging poker chips in Monte Carlo.
What? No throwing some dice while in Vegas?
Jack Nicholson has recently been passing up film roles left and right. Fortunately for The Bucket List, Rob Reiner worked with Nicholson on A Few Good Men and personally asked him to star. Nicholson obviously said yes.
Production on the film is expected to begin this October.
