Though many now know Michelle Monaghan as the cute and innocent interest of Tom Cruise in Mission: Impossible III, others have come to love the nipple-showing hottie in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.
The actress is preparing to return to the comedy genre and will join up with Ben Stiller.
Monaghan for Seven Day Itch
According to Variety, Michelle Monaghan is set to star opposite Ben Stiller in Seven Day Itch, a DreamWorks comedy inspired by The Heartbreak Kid.
Peter and Bobby Farrelly are directing.
Monaghan will play a young woman who causes a honeymooning groom to question his commitment to the woman he hastily married.
The wife role is being cast; a DreamWorks spokesman denied reports that the Farrellys were planning to cast their Shallow Hal star Gwyneth Paltrow in the role. Actresses were reading for the role over the weekend.
Monaghan, who co-starred in Mission: Impossible III, North Country and Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, is currently starring with Casey Affleck in Gone, Baby, Gone, the Miramax Films adaptation of the Dennis Lehane novel that marks Ben Affleck's directorial debut.
