Judging by a hunch and what I'd like to call my own personal Spidy sense, Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest is going to be H-U-G-E this weekend. I had planned to catch the film at the midnight screening tonight (Disney sends me absolutely NO love) but it turns out that EVERY theatre playing the film (near me) was sold out. I checked out at least fifteen major theatres and they all ran out of tickets and had full lines by 9PM.
Holy pirates' booty! Is this an early sign that Dead Man's Chest is going to kick box office ass this weekend?
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Featurette
Hard to say, but I have been predicting Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to be the biggest summer film ever since 2006 kicked off.
Though the reviews are still mixed, feel free to clear up any doubts you may have by checking out the latest featurette for the film that I have titled 'Action & Stunts.' Considering that this single featurette entertained the crap out of me I can only begin to wonder how the film must look.
Damn you Disney! Where's the love?*
