Angelina Jolie
Dreamworks Pictures continues to feed its impressive cast for their upcoming animation Kung Fu Panda with Jolie as the latest nutrient.
Angelina Jolie for Kung Fu Panda
According to Variety, Angelina Jolie has chosen her first post-baby project that should allow her to take it easy. Jolie has joined Jack Black, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan, Lucy Liu and Ian McShane in the studio for Kung Fu Panda.
Jolie will voice Tigress, one of the "furious five" martial-arts masters who helps train Po (Black) to become Kung Fu Panda.
Kung Fu Panda is about a lowly waiter in a noodle restaurant whose shape doesn't lend itself to kung fu fighting.
But when powerful enemies are at the gates, all hopes are pinned on a prophesy naming Po as the "Chosen One" to save the day.
Considering that Jackie Chan is also in the studio, I guess we should expect a blooper reel at the end of the film showing the martial artist somehow still hurting himself.
Kung Fu Panda is scheduled for release in May of 2008.
