According to Variety, Dimension Films has picked up Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh to star opposite John Cusack in the bigscreen Stephen King adaptation 1408.
John Cusack plays a debunker of paranormal occurrences who encounters real terror when he checks into the notorious Room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel.
Walsh will play his ex-wife and mother of his young daughter.
King's 1408 short story originally was part of an audio book and was subsequently published in the collection Everything's Eventual.
It is still unknown which role Samuel L Jackson will play.
Production of 1408 begins this summer in the United Kingdom.
Dimension Films is also working to adapt another one of Stephen King's novels, Cell, to the big screen.
