Snakes on a Plane
New Line Cinema is desperately trying to keep the Snakes on a Plane hype in flight by releasing the first 'official' teaser trailer for the film. I know what you are thinking -- Haven't we already seen a teaser trailer for the film? Well, not exactly, plus this one is (like I said) official.
Snakes on a Plane Teaser Trailer
The one thing that is cool about the official teaser trailer for Snakes on a Plane is that it is not just a quicktime version of some leaked flash file we have already seen; this baby is fresh with new clips and a whole new introduction.
In case you have been living under a rock the past six months, Snakes on a Plane tells the story of an FBI agent who is escorting a witness on a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles when an assassin releases hundreds of deadly snakes on a commercial airplane in order to eliminate the witness. The FBI agent, along with a rookie pilot, frightened crew and passengers must then band together in a desperate attempt to survive.
I dig how the trailer also kicks off with a list of phobia terms and had hoped New Line would go a step further to combine them all to create a phobia that fits the film. Cheesy, I know, but that is what the studio is going for anyway.
