Monster House Poster
The reviews for Monster House continue to come in with Ebert and Roeper showing the animated film some early love (audio file). It is not time for a review round-up, however, and we have instead decided to alert our readers to some new clips for the film to help see what all the hype is about.
Monster House Clips
Columbia Pictures and executive producers Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg present Monster House, an exciting and hilarious thrill-ride tale about three kids who must do battle with a mysterious house that threatens anyone who crosses its path.
The two things this film currently has going for it are the sensational animation and the adult humor. I dig the story about a haunted house, but now I am just curious on how far Spielberg, Zemeckis and Gil Kenan have taken the story.
The latest clips for the film look pretty solid, though there were a couple times when the animation seemed to get a bit jerky during the faster sequences. The house is also pretty dang frightening, making me wonder if Sony Pictures didn't accidentally push away some of their younger target market.

Monster House comes to theatres on July 21st.
