The briefest of brief casting updates for you. It
seems that The Da
Vinci Code, directed by Ron Howard, starring Tom Hanks,
has found the actress to play Sophie Neveu. Sophie Neveu is a French cryptologist,
whose father is murdered in the Louvre museum after-hours. Sophie helps
Robert Langdon on his adventures as he attempts to discover the murderer's
identity, and reveal a sinister plot to uncover a secret that has been protected
by a clandestine society since the days of Christ.
Sophie Marceau Plays Sophie Neveu
According to reports, it seems that Sophie Marceau [Braveheart,
The World is Not Enough] has shown signs that she will be joining
the already talented crew for The Da Vinci Code. The latest step
has been Sophie's replacement in the film Stone Council by Monica
Bellucci. Now Sophie will be able to join the Code.
However, I actually wouldn't mind if it was Monica Bellucci who came over
to The Da Vinci Code. Well, I guess beggers can't be choosers.
