Casino Royale
After announcing that they have greenlit the 22nd James Bond movie with Daniel Craig returning as Bond, it now looks like Columbia Pictures is ready to show off a few reasons why they are so confident in the franchise, their lead actor and Casino Royale in general.
Casino Royale Podcasts
Though I continue to pray that somebody would leak the extended, twenty-minute clip previewed for Casino Royale online, I have yet to be so lucky. Instead we have been alerted to two of the first podcasts for the film that take us deep into the Bond world by going behind the scenes.
There is something that makes me smile when I watch Daniel Craig practice pistol-whipping imaginary people as he trains and learns new stunts for his role as Bond. Martin Campbell claims that Daniel Craig is a dark and grittier Bond that we are used to; as in a Bond who can't get enough of pistol-whipping people.
The second clip is also cool and, surprisingly, kicks off with Daniel Craig pistol-whipping people. In the clip we learn that the action sequences were the first thing on Campbell's mind and that many of them were filmed before Craig could get a single line out. What kind of action? I'll give you one guess...
