I am getting some major Nightmare Before Christmas
deja vu, as I sit and watch the surprisingly humorous Corpse
Bride movie trailer!
Corpse Bride Movie Trailer Online
The first major aspect I noticed, and aspect that definately seperates Corpse
Bride from Nightmare Before Christmas, is the stop-motion
animation. I know, I know, both films use stop motion animation. However,
Corpse Bride seems to have used CGI to create the effect of stop-motion
animation. While the Nightmare characters showed they were made
from something solid, such as clay, the Corpse Bride characters
look a lot more... real. This can also just be me, as it has been claimed
that Corpse Bride is old fashioned stop-motion animation.
Another aspect of the Corpse Bride trailer that I found awkward
is that I still do not fully understand what the film is about; although
it does seem pretty humorous. How does the main character get tied up between
what seems to be two brides, one living and one dead. Luckily, we have a
full synopsis at the Corpse
Bride
Movie Page to help fill in the blanks left by the trailer.

This girl always seemed to bring a 'dark cloud' with her.
