Super Trooper, or should I say Broken Lizard, director
Jay Chandrasekhar has been popping in and out of the media at an accelerated
rate. After forming a bond with Warner Bros a few years back the director
has been kept busy ever since.
Jay Chandrasekhar to Direct The Babymaker
According to Variety,
Warner Bros. Pictures has picked
up Super Trooper Jay Chandrasekhar to helm The Babymaker.
Kevin Hefferman, one of Chandrasekhar's cohorts in the comedy troupe Broken
Lizard, will star.
Penned by Ice Age: The Meltdown scribes Peter Gaulke and
Gerry Swallow, The Babymaker centers on a guy who fails
in his attempts to have a baby with his wife so he and his buddies stage
an elaborate heist to retrieve a deposit he made years ago at a sperm bank.
Jay has had quite the relationship with Warner Bros ever since Dukes
of Hazzard and will add The Babymaker to his very
own Warner Bros to-do list.
Chandrasekhar is currently working on Beerfest
for Warner Bros and is also writing Nutcracker for the
studio.
