Eragon Movie Poster
Here is a brief, but what could be wonderful, update for Eragon. Though it is hard to tell what parts of the footage are real and what are fanmade, a new 'leaked trailer' has appeared over at YouTube.
Eragon Footage Blender
The footage that is now available over at YouTube is a blender of details at most. To make matters worse, the sound is slightly off from the video. I will let that slide, however, considering that none of the lines of dialogue come off as cheesy as Dungeon Siege; whew!
Why report on footage I criticize? Well, it turns out that there are a couple new shots from the film that do look legit. A shot of Eragon's palm (have we seen that yet?) and some Lord of the Rings looking landscapes for example.
What else was there? Hmmm... something important. Oh yes, a possible shot of Saphira! That or a segment cut out of Dragonheart or Reign of Fire.
Either way, the clip still has a couple uplifting moments and is worthy of a Sunday update.
Before you check out the Eragon clip let me point out that it can be strictly fanmade and have nothing to do with the upcoming Eragon teaser trailer. I am hoping some segments were fanmade including the line that says, "He Left This Village." What! How about, "He Left His Village." Man I hope that was fake.
Make your own impressions by checking out some Eragon footage over at YouTube. Thanks to 'Luthor' for the heads up.
Eragon comes to theatres on
December 15th.
