Our Eragon informant, 'Luther', has recently sent us an update that Fox has once again set the date for the release of the film's teaser trailer. What film you ask? Could it be something epic, something grand, something big budget... Snakes on a Plane?

That's right, 20th Century Fox is 'hoping' to have the teaser trailer ready in time for the release of New Line Cinema's Snakes on a Plane.
Shur'tugal is reporting that a representative from Fox 2000 has told them the trailer for Eragon will be released with Snakes on a Plane on August the 18th. Since trailers usually appear online before they appear in theaters, we can expect a trailer sometime around the 17th.
Since this is the third movie we were told it would be attached to, I wouldn't hold your breath.
I also wanted to let you know that Eragon has overtaken DOA, putting it in the sixth spot of the Top Films on CanMag.
I have recently gone to Shur'tugal to confirm the report and, yes, it seems like we now have a new date to get excited for. Will there be a dragon? The original teaser (never released) only featured a small spec of a dragon and Fox decided to hold onto it. Maybe they did so to give the fans something they could really sink their teeth into.
As 'Luther' pointed out, Eragon has jumped up to the number six spot on CanMag's Top Ten.
Eragon comes to theatres on
December 15th.
