Yesterday we announced that not only had Fox and Universal agreed upon who to direct the Halo adaptation, but they agreed on a guy who has yet to get his feet wet. Instead of loud cheers, the internet community found themselves more in a shock when they heard that it would be Neill Blomkamp who would sit in the director's chair for the adaptation.
That is, at least the part of the community that hasn't seen any of the director's previous projects. Sure, the South African may not have any feature films under his belt, but he does know how to work the camera.
