Christopher Plummer continues to keep his filmography nicely mixed. While dancing around romantic comedies the actor also appeared in Syriana and The New World. To mix things up a bit further, the actor has recently jumped onto an animated adaptation.
Plummer, Redgrave, Rossellini for My Dog Tulip
According to Variety, Christopher Plummer, Lynn Redgrave and Isabella Rossellini will lend their voices to the indie animated feature My Dog Tulip The film is based off of the novel by J.R. Ackerly.
The story, which seems simple enough, follows a 14-year friendship between Ackerley and his German Shepherd, Tulip, after the scribe rescued the dog.
"This is a profound and beautiful love story. It just happens to be between a man and his dog," says producer Norman Twain.
Norman Twain, Howard Kaminsky and Frank Pellegrino are producing the film, which will have an adult sensibility.
Voice recording shall begin this month. The animation will begin after that.
