Director Wes Anderson has picked up quite the trio for his upcoming comedy to be directed under Fox Searchlight. Fortunately for the director, the project will serve as more of a reunion for a couple of the actors.
Wilson, Brody, Schwartzman for Definitely, Maybe
According to Variety, Wes Anderson has picked up Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody and Jason Schwartzman to star in The Darjeeling Limited.
Anderson, who wrote the script with Coppola and Schwartzman, will shoot the film entirely in India beginning in December.
Wilson, Brody and Schwartzman will play brothers who take a spiritual trek through India following the death of their father.
Brody is working with Anderson for the first time. Wilson co-wrote with Anderson Bottle Rocket, Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums and is a regular in his ensembles. Schwartzman starred in Rushmore.
Besides Brody, the other new addition for Anderson will be the studio he is working under. The Darjeeling Limited will be his first film under the Searchlight banner; he made his last two films with Disney. Producer Scott Rudin continues to stick with Anderson wherever he goes.
