Eragon
Our Eragon informant, 'Luther', sent us an update last week explaining that Fox was planning on releasing the first trailer for the film with Snakes on a Plane. How they found any relationship between Eragon and the Samuel L Jackson curse-fest we still don't know. But did we care? No. The announcement meant that we would have most likely had the first Eragon trailer online by today.
So, being today, we have some bad news to report.
Eragon Teaser Trailer Delayed
20th Century Fox is still not ready to display the first trailer for Eragon. 'Luthor' recently alerted us that Fox has delayed the trailer again and that Shurtugal has confirmed the information.
Bad news folks - Fox has yet again pushed the release date for their trailer debut off of Snakes on a Plane (a relief to some).
We have however heard from our Fox contact that the trailer has been pushed to Invincible, which releases a week later.
Invincible? Another interesting choice. But who cares what film the trailer gets released with, just get us that trailer!
Eragon comes to theatres on
December 15th.

Stay tuned for updates.
Delays in marketing for Eragon, a film that Fox claims to be the next big fantasy adventure, is hurting the film's hype. Major publications have discussed the curiosity behind the adaptation but usually nothing more. To make matters worse, EW recently claimed that Eragon will be a family film that both kids and adults can enjoy.
What?! Have they not read the book; it is violent! Are they talking family film like Lord of the Rings or Dungeons & Dragons? If it is the latter we are going to be sick.
