Tim Roth has been looking for a project to immediately follow up My Blueberry Nights and has found it with the help of Naomi Watts.
Roth for Funny Games
According to Variety, Tim Roth has joined the cast of Funny Games. Roth will star alongside Naomi Watts in the Michael Haneke-directed drama.
Roth is currently shooting My Blueberry Nights starring Jude Law, Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz and Norah Jones.
In Funny Games, Roth will play a father and husband who tries to protect his family after two psychos invade their cabin during a vacation. The film is a remake of the 1997 German original.
Production is expected to begin this September.
Roth just completed the Francis Ford Coppola-directed Youth Without Youth and the HBO film The Aftermath with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Toni Collette.
