Casino Royale
Once Columbia Pictures began releasing podcasts for Casino Royale on iTunes I figured they all would come from there. Well, it turns out that iTunes is not the only place to get the podcasts and that there are two more that, if we only looked at iTunes, we would have missed.
Casino Royale Podcasts
Columbia Pictures has posted two more podcasts for Casino Royale, but this time over at the film's official site. Though I'd rather watch the clips in a quicktime player through iTunes, the flash player (surprisingly) gets the job done.
9. Filming the Casino Part I
I really shouldn't be watching these two Bond clips. I am heading off to Vegas tomorrow to throw some die and these clips only make me more antsy. Vegas baby! Martin Campbell discusses the casino scene in the film and, out of nowhere, we get to hear that the large blind is now up to one million. Bond is playing Texas Hold'em?
10. Filming the Casino Part II
Bond has ten million dollars to deposit into the game? Talk about agency funding! To make the Texas Hold'em game realistic, Campbell had to train the actors on how to play and how to act while playing. Bond only plays in the most realistic of games. The clip finishes on a Bond quote, "I am sorry, that last hand, nearly killed me."
