Remember that adorable cutie that looked younger than she was -- at least, most men hoped she only looked younger -- in Matchstick Men? Well, still looking pretty adorable, Alison Lohman has recently joined up with big-hitters Benicio Del Toro and Halle Berry for an upcoming drama from DreamWorks.
Alison Lohman for Things We Lost in the Fire
According to THR, DreamWorks Pictures' has picked up Alison Lohman to star opposite in Benicio Del Toro and Halle Berry in Things We Lost in the Fire.
Written by Allan Loeb, the story centers on a woman (Berry) whose husband (David Duchovny) suddenly dies. Lohman has been cast as the co-dependent girlfriend of Del Toro's character, the husband's surviving best friend, who helps the grief-stricken family confront their loss.
The film is being directed by Susanne Bier, known for the film Open Hearts.
Sam Mendes and Sam Mercer are producing.
Lohman next stars in 20th Century Fox's Flicka, about a girl who dreams of fulfilling her family's legacy by working on her father's ranch in modern-day Wyoming. She also will be seen in Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros.' Pictures upcoming adventure fantasy Beowulf.
Things We Lost in the Fire is currently filming in Vancouver.
