In our last article about Pirates
casting, we told that Stellan Skarsgård would be joining
the returning Pirates
of the Caribbean cast as Bootstrap Turner [Orlando's father].
Now, we have more casting info about a new shela to join the cast thanks
to the Hollywoodreporter.
Naomie Harris is a Pirate?
Naomie Harris [Crust, After the Sunset, 28 Days Later],
just as Stellan Skarsgård, will be part of both the back to back Pirates
of the Caribbean sequels that will go into production early March of
this year in Los Angeles; the first sequel is due out some time during the
Summer of 2006.
Naomie Harris will join the Pirates of the Caribbean cast as a
gypsie queen, which I can only assume becomes a love interest to one of
the many characters expected in the sequels [yes, they are all back, even
Rush]. Harris is a graduate from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where she
then went on to do British broadcasts such as Runaway Bay and The
Tomorrow People. Harris did not receive her breakthrough hit until
28 Days Later, the low budget zombie horror.
Naomie Harris will appear as a gypsie queen.
