The behind the scenes features take clips from old on set interviews (including Hughes) and juxtapose them with new soundbites. It’s a classy production that shows both the similarities between perspectives, and how certain participants have grown. I think Ringwald is hotter now but I’ve always preferred older women.
There are a ton of extras with plenty of chances to hear gossip and reminiscences. The alternate ending talk actually addresses what some may consider the biggest problem with the movie. They don’t actually show the original end, only behind the scenes clips of its filming.
