Drunken Master
Ever since Tony Jaa reinvigorated martial arts cinema with Ong Bak, it’s been rumored that he would team up with Jackie Chan for a third Drunken Master film. While it would be awesome to see Chan wobbling around again for any reason, let alone teaming up with the closest successor he’s ever had, Jaa is focused on his own movies right now.

“Some people are talking about that to me, but right now I’m more focused on Ong Bak 2 so there’s not much time for that.”
It looks like there are no limits to Jaa’s physical abilities though, so couldn’t he just add drunken boxing to his repertoire? “I really admire Jackie Chan. Really one of my idol movies is Drunken Master of Jackie Chan, but do I practice it? I don’t practice a similar one. You still have to see Ong Bak 2. Maybe.”
Of course, Jaa won’t tell us anything about Ong Bak 2, so we’ll have to hope that he’s hinting at a drunken boxing scene.
