Cameron Diaz, Jim Carrey for A Little Game
According to Variety, Focus Features has picked up Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz to star in the romantic comedy A Little Game. The film will be directed by Gabriele Muccino.
Carrey and Diaz will play an engaged Manhattan couple who devise an experiment to see how their friends feel about the relationship. They discover their friends believe them to be a poor match, and there are consequences.
The story is based off of the French play by Jean Dell and Gerald Sibleyras. Liz Tuccillo adapted the story to screenplay.
A Little Game reteams Carrey and Diaz the first time since The Mask.
The film is the second for Muccino, who made his Hollywood directing debut with the Will Smith drama The Pursuit of Happyness.
A Little Game is expected to begin shooting in New York next month.
