It seems like it has been a while since we have seen something from the always-funny Seann William Scott. Though I had prayed that one day some studio would be wise enough to team Scott up with Dane Cook or Ryan Reynolds, it looks like the guy will be going solo for Big Brother.
Seann William Scott for Big Brother
According to Production Weekly, Seann William Scott is in talks to topline the edgy comedy Big Brother. Luke Greenfield is set to direct.
The project is eyeing a January production start date.
Big Brother tells the story of a selfish businessman who is forced to participate in the Big Brother program and is paired with a tough teen. The two loathe each other, but they develop a twisted father/son relationship once the businessman begins teaching the youth all of the immoral things he used ot get ahead in business.
Sounds a lot like Emilio Estevez's role in Might Ducks.
Scott will next begin filming for Danny Leiner's Gary The Tennis Coach. The underdog comedy centers on an overzealous high school janitor who begins coaching a group of misfits to the Nebraska state championship. Production is expected to begin on October 23rd in Austin.
