Patrick Wilson has quite the filmography. First he sung to win the heart of a childhood sweetheart against a masked villain and then the actor quickly moved on to fight a battle at The Alamo and sexually assault underage ladies.
It looks like Wilson has now cleaned up his act again and will return to being the target of affection for a cougar; if you know what I mean.
Patrick Wilson for Evening
According to Variety, Focus Features' has picked up Patrick Wilson to star in Evening, the bigscreen adaptation of Susan Minot's bestselling novel.
Lajos Koltai will direct.
Evening tells the story of a 65-year-old cancer patient -- to be played by Vanessa Redgrave -- who reflects on a weekend in her youth when she met the love of her life (Wilson), as her two daughters try to come to terms with her impending death. Claire Danes, Toni Collette and Hugh Dancy round out the cast.
Minot and Michael Cunningham adapted the novel and will also produce.
Wilson will next star in New Line's Little Children (preview page coming soon) followed by Running With Scissors.
