Casino Royale
Now that we have a badass trailer for Casino Royale we might as well have a positive early review as well. That is correct, there are some out there who have caught a secret screening of the latest Bond film and the response (so far) has been very positive.
Casino Royale Screened
The good people over at AICN have recently received an early screening report from 'Napoleon Solo' and, not only does this guy go into full detail on certain aspects to the film including Bond girls, but says that the film is awesome... I mean fantastic.
I think the reason people cheered so hard was because of the general skepticism toward Daniel Craig and whether he is a viable 007. The audience were more than pleased, with not a single one questioning DG's Bondability upon the close of the flick.
As for myself... in short...
One word...
Fantastic.
You'll see, this is strange... Everytime someone calls him Bond, I kind of believe it, but when he is referred to as James, I don't buy it. Yet I did with Sean, Pierce and Roger, I didn't with George or Timothy. But unlike those guys, i honestly don't think we're supposed to here. Martin Campbell deliberately strips everything you know of Bond away and at his command... unleashes hell. At the end of the movie you want one thing... MORE!
And that is honestly how I feel after watching this Bond... I want more. More Daniel, More Aston Martin (OH YEAH, they go there), More 'real' stunts... just less dirty fucking feet!
