Joel Schumacher is looking to mix things up a bit by directing a supernatural thriller with Gold Circle Films and Lionsgate.
Joel Schumacher to Direct Town Creek
According to Variety, Joel Schumacher will direct the supernatural film Town Creek.
Penned by Dave Kajganich, story centers on two brothers trapped in a harrowing occult experiment. Kajganich's credits include the upcoming Warner Bros. pic The Visiting starring Nicole Kidman.
Gold Circle will finance the film with Lionsgate handling distribution. Both studios are keeping busy with projects including Gold Circle's How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiance, My Sassy Girl and Lionsgate's The U.S. vs John Lennon, Deliver Us From Evil, Employee of the Month and Saw III.
Production for Town Creek is expected to begin this March.
