After weeks of oathbreaking, 20th Century Fox has finally got some solid news to report on the upcoming teaser trailer for Eragon. What did they report you ask?
The trailer is coming!
Eragon Teaser Trailer Friday
After getting back from the Angel game tonight I noticed a surge of emails all with the subject of 'Eragon.' I first thought a better copy of the leaked Comic Con footage had appeared online but immediately learned this was something else when I saw Mike Macauley's (creator of Shurtugal) on my mailing list.
This is what Mike, 'Luthor', 'Sara' and 'Hamsam' had to say:
The teaser trailer for Eragon is coming this Friday. How do they know this? The good people at Fox recently confirmed to Shurtugal that the teaser trailer is indeed, guaranteed, 100% going to come out to theatres this Friday with The Rock's Gridiron Gang. Now I don't know if watching two hours of another generic sports movie is worth the teaser trailer, but it damn well could be.
I also don't know if Fox hinted anything to Mike on the internet release of the teaser trailer, but the recent practice has been to release them one to two days early. If we are lucky, we could have the teaser trailer for Eragon online by tomorrow night!
Fox, for all the delays, this baby better be good.
Eragon comes to theatres on
December 15th.
