Though Apocalypto
looked down and out after Gibson went all drunken Hitler on us, that doesn't
mean the full trailer for the film isn't sweet.

Yes, it was hinted that Touchstone would be dropping
Apocalypto like a bad habit, but how can they with a film
that looks this glorious? Would a nerd break up with his supermodel girlfriend
for cheating on him? I don't think so.
Other than the bad analogy, the teaser trailer -- which comes wordless no
less -- is packed with stunning visuals that have something to do with the
end of civilization, people running, tribes that are not necessarily friendly,
a pregnant chick and a black panther.
Put all that into the blender, add a dash of terrific cinematography and
you could have perfection. Gibson did it before with Passion
and it now looks like he is ready to strike again.

Touchstone is now sure that Apocalypto will come to theatres
on December 8th.
