We have just been alerted to a bunch of new clips to appear online for the upcoming CG animation from Sony Pictures, Open
Season.

Season features a cast of voices that includes Ashton Kutcher, Martin
Lawrence, Debra Messing, Gary Sinise, and Paul Westerberg.
The animation tells the story of a deer who buddies up with a domesticated grizzly bear when the two animals are alone in the woods during hunting season. Meanwhile, Beth, a forest ranger who raised the bear, embarks on a desperate search to find her friend.
The latest clips for Open Season are pretty funny, though it does seem like Sony may have entered into the animated conundrum. Some of the humor wants to be adult, but they deliver it in a childish manner to satisfy a younger audience. What happened to the subliminal adult humor used in films such as Shrek?
Besides that little complaint, it does look like Sony has a fun movie to help close out September.
IESB has gotten their hands on 10 clips total and each runs from about 20 to 30 seconds. Do the math and you will find these to be a great way to blow about five to six minutes at work or school.
