Johnny Knoxville
Ah, we love it when the Jackass team dresses up as old dudes. This time Knoxville takes a kid drinking in public.
“The idea for bad grandpa was for me to go drink and smoke in public with a little kid and all the other stuff,” he said.
Jackass: Number Two - Bad Grandpa
The kid had as many funny lines as Knoxville. “He’s a natural shit talker,” aid director Jeff Tremaine. “When we were filming that, we were shooting through tinted window in a car and the little boy has an earwig in his ear. Johnny didn’t want one so I could only communicate through the kid but I could hear Knoxville talking. So, to throw him off, I was feeding the kid pretty foul language.”
Knoxville recalled, “‘Can we get the f*ck out of here? There’s nothing but c*cksuckers around’? I was like, ‘Jeff! Did Jeff say that?’ ‘Yeah.’”
One patron became verbally aggressive towards old Knoxville, even threatening him, which only provoked more. “The guy just kept lobbing me softballs [like] ‘Wanna take this outside?’”
But ultimately, he signed the release. “That’s not our problem,” said Tremaine. “We sent pretty girls with big smiles over.”
Jackass: Number Two opens on this Friday, September 22nd.
