A black romantic comedy. No? A Michael Ian Black romantic comedy? Yes. The same guy who appears on VH1's "I Love the..." series? Yes. Isla Fisher is effin adorable. No doubt.
Fisher, Biggs for Black's Pleasure
According to Variety,
MGM has picked up North American rights to the romance comedy helmed by Michael Ian Black, The Pleasure of Your Company.
Fortunately for MGM, this package comes included with Isla Fisher -- the girl that stole the show in Wedding Crashers -- and Jason Biggs; where has his career been since American Pie?
The Pleasure of Your Company tells the story of a young man (Biggs) flummoxed by love and life.
I don't know exactly how flummoxed you can get dating someone that looks like Fisher, but maybe that's just me.
The Pleasure of Your Company is another move by MGM, who has been working to pick themselves back up again and ensure that moviegoers see their infamous lion more often. The studio has recently made pacts with The Weinstein Co. -- Bobby -- and have a few of their own tentpole films coming our way including the next Terminator installment, the next Bond movie and a possible Hobbit.
