Diane Keaton, Dax Shepard and Liv Tyler will all team up to deliver a new indie film for Inferno Distribution and Jay Roach's Everyman Pictures.
Keaton, Shepard and Tyler for Smother
According to Variety,
Diane Keaton, Dax Shepard and Liv Tyler are set to star in the indie film Smother.
Tim Rasmussen and Vince Di Meglio penned the script, with Di Meglio set to make his directorial debut.
Smother tells the story of a thirty-something man who is fired from his job, pressured by his wife to have a baby and overwhelmed by his mother, who has decided to move in with him.
Though the announcement doesn't state it, we should assume that Dax will be the thirty-something man, Tyler the wife pushing for a baby and Keaton the mother.
Keaton should be an easy fit as the role of meddling mother, as she has already done it twice for the upcoming films Because I Said So and Mama's Boy.
Shepard can next be seen in Employee of the Month with Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook.
Tyler stars in the upcoming film Reign Over Me and has been picked up to begin filming in Strangers.
