Eliza Dushku
It is always hard to tell if we like reporting on Eliza Dushku because we dig her films -- how Bring It On was not nominated for an Oscar I still don't know -- or if we just dig her pictures.
Dushku, Vogel For Mamba
According to Variety,
Eliza Dushku and Mike Vogel have been picked up to star in the upcoming teen-thriller Mamba.
The film is based on a screenplay by scribes Roderick, Bruce Taylor and Cuadri. The film will be the feature debut for director Alvaro de Arminan.
I Know What You Did Last Summer meets Final Destination, according to Orihuela, Mamba turns on a group of surfer students who discover an old satanic board game called Mamba. Every time one person loses in the game, they suffer dire death.
It just so happens that death, as they call him, likes to wear a fisherman suit and carry a huge hook. What? Doesn't work?
The cast is also full of international thesps including Naiki Rivelli, Gary Piquer, Alex O'Dogherty and Martxelo Rubio.
Filming begins for Mamba next Monday in northern Spain's Basque Country.
