There has been a lot of rumors floating around the Predator franchise recently thanks most in part to the upcoming production of AVP2. One of the rumors seems to think the aged, but not spoiled, Sylvester Stallone is ready to step in and take a spot the same as or similar to Schwarzenegger's oh so long ago.
Stallone to Take on Predator?
Here is the email sent in from 'Shannon':
According to IESB.net, Twentieth Century Fox are keen to pit SYLVESTER STALLONE against the Predator!
The site says the studio is working on a third PREDATOR movie - it won't be called PREDATOR 3 though, because it will be different characters and
situations - for release sometime after the upcoming ALIEN VS PREDATOR 2.
The studio initially wanted to do an ALIEN 5 but negotiations between the studio, Sigourney Weaver and Ridley Scott went bust. Instead, they've
turned their attention to doing a new PREDATOR sequel.
A third PREDATOR film was pitched to FOX a few years back. It would've starred THE ROCK as Dutch, the character that Schwarzenegger played in the
first film. That plan was quickly scrapped. I guess The Rock didn't go for it?
Stallone is yet to accept the offer, apparently. But it would be great to see him take over for his old friend, Schwarzenegger!
First Rocky VI and now this. What kind of supplement is Stallone taking nowadays?
