Back in April it was announced that Ben Stiller had the itch (here). After his arrival Michelle Monaghan got the itch (here) and helped increase the eye candy in the cast. After her arrival, the threesome-loving Malin Akerman jumped aboard as well (here).
Now, almost five months since casting had started, Carlos Mencia is looking to hop aboard the Farrelly comedy.
Mencia Joins Stiller in Seven Day Itch
According to Production Weekly,
Carlos Mencia, known best for his comedy series on Comedy Central, Mind of Mencia, has signed onto the now-untitled Farrelly brothers project that used to be Seven Day Itch.
In the script by the Farrelly Bros. and Kevin Barnett, Stiller plays Eddie Cantrow, who has trouble committing to any long term relationship. Despite his affliction, Eddie decides to get married and hopefully learn to settle down. While in Mexico on his honeymoon with his new wife Lila (Akerman), Eddie makes the mistake of finding his soulmate, Miranda played by Monaghan.
Mencia will play a sadistic hotel manager in the film.
Principal photography begins next week, with filming in locations around Los Angeles, San Francisco and Cabo San Lucas.
