Director George Callo has not only found his cast for his upcoming comedy but has got some big names as well.
Banderas, Ryan, Hanks and Blair For Homeland Security
According to Variety,
Antonio Banderas, Meg Ryan, Colin Hanks and Selma Blair will star in George Gallo's romantic comedy Homeland Security.
The film is an indie pic with a budget around $25 million, mostly financed by Millennium Films.
Homeland Security tells the story of an uptight young federal agent who finds himself having to spy on his sexually liberated mother and her new lover after the FBI links him to an international art theft ring.
Producers are Heidi Jo Markel's Eclectic Pictures, Richard Salvatore's Two Sticks Prods. and Gallo's wife, Julie Lott, who provided some of the financing.
Gallo has some experience in the comedy genre by writing the scripts for The Whole Ten Yards and has story credit on Bad Boys. The director recently wrote and directed the indie film Local Color.
