Here is a brief update for all of you Eragon fans. Though we have received this still in tons of low resolution formats throughout the past two weeks, we have finally received one (today) that makes the cut.

One thing that has been troubling me about the trailers and stills for Eragon is that it seems that Fox has placed a lot of emphasis on King Galbatorix. Those of us who have read the books know that the character is non-existent, except for the idea of him sitting on his thrown retaining power. The trailers also suggest that Durza is allowed to ride Galbatorix's dragon, something that never happened in the books. Though the dragon is an oathbreaker, it still only serves its one master.
I guess Fox just wanted to have some aerial dragon-to-dragon combat for the first film. What? Couldn't wait until the second?!
Galbatorix should really invest in a more comfortable thrown. Maybe some leather next time?
Fox has still been slow on the official stills for the film. They have just over a week left on our previous 50/50 bet.
Eragon comes to theatres on December 15th.
