Soon after The
Matador, starring Pierce Brosnan and Greg Kinnear, became
a hit at the Sundance Film Festival it was picked up for distribution by
Miramax Films. So what does this mean? Well, not only will the film be better
marketed [as in stills and trailers online], we will all have a better chance
of seeing it in theatres. While the film does not have an exact release
date yet for 2005 [which can mean trouble], at least we have some movie
stills to start us off.

Here are the first batch of movie stills to come out for The Matador. The
film is about a chance encounter between a sleezy hitman [Brosnan] and a
grubby salesman [Kinnear]. This unlikely match soon become friends and are
forced to act in ways each never thought possible.
