Robert Downey Jr. has just become the comeback king. That is, if this latest rumor is true.
Robert Downey Jr. is Iron Man!... Maybe
The good people over at AICN have just received the whopper of scoops. After names such as Tom Cruise and Terrence Howard have floated around the character Tony Stark, it looks like it will be I-used-to-be-on-the-outs Robert Downey Jr.
“I hear there will be a trade break tomorrow,” Harry said. He told me a few other things the spy said off-the-record, and it certainly sounds like this guy's the real deal. “Now I have to go because 250 people are staring at me wondering what I'm talking on my phone about.”
Brace yourselves for what happens when someone makes the right choice for once.
Tony Stark will be played by Robert Downey, Jr.
Expect an official announcement and therefore another update by tomorrow. I can only hope this is true; Robert Downey Jr. would be sweet in this role. But weren't they starting young?
