I saved this rumor for the weekend because, well,
it is a rumor. Sit on this the next couple of
days and, possibly, take it with a grain of salt.
Janssen Tony Stark's Love Interest in Iron Man?
We received two emails on Friday suggesting that Tony Stark's love interest
has also been found. Who could it be? Famke Janssen? She isn't burned out
on comic book films yet?
Here is one of the emails we received from 'Tariq':
Famke Janssen (x-men , don't say a
word) is in Iron Man as a love interest!
This will be her fourth time to work with Jon Faverau
he was supporting her in Love & Sex in 2000 and because
good friends with her and since.
then he has been casting her a lot in his projects such as Made
and his TV show Dinner for Five
and he has now cast her in Iron Man!
As of right now, take this information as food
for thought.
Last we heard, Tony Stark's love interest in the film was going to be the
character Bethany Cabe. Cabe meets Stark at a convention in New York City
and their relationship quickly becomes romantic. Cabe would later help Stark
beat his alcoholism. Though she doesn't know it at first, Cabe figures out
that Iron Man is not only Stark's bodyguard, but Stark himself.
What do you think? Is Famke Janssen a good fit for the part? She does match
up to Robert Downey Jr. pretty well. But isn't she about a foot taller?
