Ryan Gosling will receive additional more lady
company for his upcoming offbeat indie from MGM.
Patricia Clarkson for Lars and the Real Girl
According to Variety,
MGM and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment have picked up Patricia Clarkson to
star opposite Gosling and Emily Mortimer in the upcoming indie Lars
and the Real Girl.
Craig Gillespie is directing from a script by Nancy Oliver.
Pic is the story of a timid man whose life changes dramatically when an
Internet friend comes to visit. The beautiful, religious missionary is in
fact an inanimate replica of a woman.
Sidney Kimmel, John Cameron and Sarah Aubrey will produce.
Clarkson is currently in production for the upcoming film Marriage.
The actress can be seen in HBO's Six Feet Under and Sony's All
The King's Men.
Production on Lars and the Real Girl begins this November.
