I can't believe they are moving forward with another
Terminator movie. I thought the third Terminator film
already 'killed' the series by making the original two, the classics, meaningless.
Well, it seems we are going to keep butchering this blockbuster until nobody
cares anymore. Have we already forgotten about Jurassic Park?
Terminator 4-- Straight to Video Day
No, when or if this film gets made, it will not go straight to video. The
latest installment to the Terminator saga will be placed far in
the future, after the war has already begun. Why this does seem like a cool
idea since we were only allowed glimpses of the future before, it does mean
that the next Terminator will have NO returning cast from the original
films. Even Claire Danes and Nick Stahl are out.
Stahl confirmed this when he spoke to scifiwire.com
and claimed, "None of the cast is coming back." Stahl later added that,
"The story is changing conceptually. I believe it's a jump to the future,
so my character will be quite a bit older. That's all that I know. So I'm
not coming back." I personally didn't really like Stahl in the role
of John Conner, but no returning cast at all? Can we please put a can on
this series!.. unless, of course, we can get James Cameron to come back.
