With Sorvino now on board, it turns out that Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo should have made the Reservation for three.
Mira Sorvino for Reservation Road
According to THR, Focus Features has picked up Mira Sorvino to star opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo in Reservation Road.
The film will be directed by Terry George.
In the film, two families collide when the father of one kills the son of the other in a hit-and-run. Phoenix and Ruffalo are the fathers, and Jennifer Connelly will be Phoenix's wife.
Sorvino will play Ruffalo's ex-wife.
The film is based off the book by author Burnham Schwartz, who is also adapting it into a working screenplay.
Sorvino won an Oscar for her performance in Mighty Aphrodite and has a filmography that includes The Final Cut and Gods and Generals.
