Though we originally had our doubts, Sony Pictures has made a few good steps to ensure audiences that Rocky Balboa is not just another sequel. The trailer made the film look (surprisingly) good and the latest poster pays tribute to the franchise.

Rocky Balboa is the next story in the saga of Philadelphia boxer Rocky Balboa, one of Hollywood's most beloved characters. In the film, Rocky has long since retired but is drawn back to the boxing ring one last time. On the way he is challenged by a powerful new champion, by personal tragedy and ultimately by himself.
Though Rocky is now old(er), it doesn't mean he still can't get old school; at least with the first poster for the film. Instead of giving us an updated look at Rocky, Sony Pictures has released something more to the likes of the first or second film. Hell, this picture may have been taking during the first or second installment.
