De Niro in Taxi Driver Sequel
We all can remember not only the brilliance of that film, but also some
of the other film's this duet has done: Mean Streats, Raging
Bull, Goodfellas, Cape Fear and Casino.
If the two reunite for this film it will have to be an older Travis Bickle
behind the wheel of the cab, though Travis will have to wait. Scorsese is
currently working with Leo. DiCaprio and Matt Damon for his next film, The
Departed, which is another crime drame (something Scorsese
has come to be known for). De Niro also has a full plate. He currently working
on The Good Shepherd,
a CIA flick.
At any rate, it is exciting to hear that the two are considering a sequel to their debut spectacle.
